This is where we read really good books and watch really bad TV!
We write about really good TV over here on GingesBeCray . Really!
Come and see us at our new digs!
They totally hooked me with the Jim and Elise sexual tension while snowboarding! They seemed to be having so much fun, I bought it if it was magical producer work.
That was supposed to be SEXUAL tension??? I did not pick up on that at ALL. My bad
It was all the giggling that got me thinking that. Ibwas also giggling, which could have something to do with it.
I just didn't get that whatsoever, I thought it was staged in a boss way!
Kendra was reeally annoyong this episode. She needs to stand up for herself and be assertive, otherwise she will always be doing the shite jobs. Bobby I go back and forth with, same with Jim. Char is my least favorite, by far. Bobby's boy toy Ian was so hot! That accent!
I mean. That was crazy. Why would she take the butler job when there is an assistant right there?? That's Bobby being pushy and her not saying anything. And Elise absolutely should have stepped inIan was SO HAWT
The race thing also kind of bothered me. If the guests had requested Kendra as their butler then I could see it. But she ended up with that role because she didn't stand up for herself, it had nothing to do with race and all to donwoth bobby and char being insufferable brats.
That's exactly it, I don't think it was racial at all, but Elise and Kendra made it about race. And I can see where they're coming from, but I can say pretty confidently that there just isn't that type of racism here. There's ALL OTHER kinds of racism that are systemic here (First Nations, Asian), but I just don't see that being at all the case here
That sounds SO STUPID when I re-read that. Of course we have all kinds of racism here, unfortunately, I just think race had nothing to do with Bobby being a pushy ahole. And protecting his deepvoiced crude bestie
Elise... sweetie.... talk to me when you cook supper every day with an eyepatch on.
