  1. ALWAYS OSCAR ISAAC! Or the Idris. One of those

  2. The Affair is considered a good show, I disagree because I think the characters are poorly constructed and the story isn't believable time-wise but Maura Tierney is the best character on that crapfest, so her.
Gaga is playing herself, so her too.
    Idris because he's Idris.
    Probs Alan Cumming.

    1. I watched about half of the first season of The Affair, I liked it but didn't really feel any drive to finish it. I never noticed the time line mess up, what was that?

    2. And I'm sure you blog historians remember cocoa and I talking about The Affair during last year's DWTS and raving aboot it. That was then, this is now...she is currently displeased with it as well.

    3. TTM most of last season's story was flashbacks and some of it was "current time" after the death of Scotty. Turns out maybe the whole thing is about 3 years. In the meantime, the affair started, Noah became a successful author and rich, he got divorced, Aly moved 7n with him in his new apartment, she had a bebeh, Noah's oldest daughter had met Aly's brother-in-law had sex with him had an abortion, got accepted to college. Aly's original in laws lost everything they owned. Plus much, much more. Including the hit and run that killed Scotty and the investigation and arrest. So it's poorly constructed. And not very beluevable Noah wrote a book, became an accomplished famed best-selling author all in the span of 5 months--totally impossible.

    4. What

      The

      FUCK

      Sandy!!

I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHO DIED

    5. It wasn't a spoiler, who died was revealed early this season, the spoiler is who killed him which they revealed in the last 10 minutes of the season. And I ain't telling.

    6. I take it back then, I didn't get far enough to find out who died

      5 months??

    7. Actually, this Bookie historian remembers you, Cocoa and JSierra chatting about it. How's tricks? Still hangin out on the 'Dan?

    8. Actually last season was about 3 months then they took off almost a year. Last season ended with an arrest for the hit and run and I think the first epi this season told us because they did an arraignment in up to date time.

    10. I do try every once and again, it's just super glitchy and there always seems to be more fights than strictly necessary

    11. no fights right now because ykw is laying low but the site is just badly made and hard to deal with. It doesn't load, the writing is awful, the blinds are easy and some aren't even blinds.

  4. I'm hoping that Wolf Hall will win something, but it didn't at the Emmy's. The acting was just amazing though. Gaga is doing a great job, but Sandy's right, the role is made for her.

  5. I don't want Gaga to win anything...I want her to get on her broom and fly away but a win will further legitimise her rebirth as a thespian and serious singer...

    1. She won't win, but seriously, I felt the same way about her until I started watching the show. She's surprisingly good!

    2. Hmmmm I have a pathological hatred for her....

    3. Yes she is perfect for this season of AHS! Im loving her performance.

    4. She is! I love how soft-spoken she plays her. Just a nod of her head speaks volumes!
