Golden Globes - Closer Look Part 4

It's movie time! How many fill-ums have you seen this year?  I had a big list that I got nowhere close to getting through.

Let's kick off with . . . . .

Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture

Paul Dano (Love & Mercy), Idris Elba (Beasts of No Nation), Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies), Michael Shannon (99 Homes) and Sylvester Stallone (Creed).

Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture

Jane Fonda (Youth), Jennifer Jason Leigh (Hateful Eight), Helen Mirren (Trumbo), Alicia Vikander (Ex Machina) and Kate Winslet (Jobs).

Best Animated Feature Film

Anamolisa, The Good Dinosaur, Inside Out, Peanuts Movie and Shaun the Sheep Movie.

What have you seen? Who do you like?
Does Jane Fonda really deserve a nomination for 5 minutes of screen time?
Will we ever get over Bing Bong?

Most importantly, what snacks are we having while watching??

  1. Okay. How in the HAYULL is Alicia Vikander only up for SUPPORTING actress for Ex Machina?? How is that not a lead role? It was a sausage fest otherwise. Anyway, she betta win; that was a fantastic movie

The Good Dinosaur sucked almost as many donkey balls are someone must have to get it nominated: Bing Bong for the moon fo SHO

    1. I guess she's nommed for The Danish Girl, had to spread it out a bit

  2. Unfortunately seen none of these. Hmmmm. Really want to see Creed still though.

    1. I was impressed at Sylvester Stallone's performance, he made it watchable, but that really isn't saying much. I liked Michael B. Jordan's love interest, but he was like a block of wood
